Senior DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes

• Solid experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform or equivalent.
• Experience with AWS services (or other cloud platforms: Azure).
• Scripting knowledge: Bash, Python.
• Experience in configuring and optimizing CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring/logging and troubleshooting in distributed environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong proficiency in German.
• Experience working directly with clients and in multicultural teams.

Infrastructure & Cloud

• Develop infrastructure using Terraform.
• Configure and manage AWS services – security (IAM, Networking), EC2, EKS, ECS, etc.
• Implement and manage serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Evaluate cloud architecture for cost optimization.
• Create detailed technical designs.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Containerize applications to run on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure networking in Kubernetes – Ingress, SSL Certificates, mTLS.
• Develop and maintain Helm Charts for new or existing applications.

Automation & CI/CD

• Implement and optimize CI/CD Pipelines using one of the following: Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI.
• Implement GitOps processes using ArgoCD.
• Propose technical and functional improvements to the existing infrastructure (cloud/on-prem).

Monitoring & Incident Management

• Manage and resolve critical production incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and document findings.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions in Kubernetes using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, DataDog, Dynatrace.

Scripting & Automation

• Efficiently navigate and interact with virtual machines (SSH, Linux CLI, Bash scripting, Python).

Collaboration & Mentoring

• Provide support and mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams.
